FLC Disclosure Data
A one to one relationship does not exist between the number of
workers certified by the Department of Labor (DOL) and the number of work visas
issued by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
DOL Foreign Labor Certification data indicates an interest by U.S. employers
to hire foreign workers; it does not provide direct evidence that these employers
actually hired the workers. For example, DOL typically certifies over three
times the number of foreign work requests than the number of H-1B visas issued by
USCIS.
Foreign Labor Certification (FLC) disclosure data are available for the Permanent,
H-1B and H-2B programs. The data can be downloaded in Microsoft Access or
Text format by program and fiscal year (October to September) by following the links
